it was a cool show, the band was pretty rough though, they played about 4 songs,a great band if you are expecting a local club band not a band of rock stars. the guys were a little loose but still rocked. Nikki and Tracii fans will like all others probably won't, not as good as Revl'on Red (LOL)

M?TLEY CR?E bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message to the "Rock 'n' Roll Diary" section of CR?E's official web site:

"The Tower in-store was so much fun. Tracii said it's really our first gig, and he's correct in the fact that it was all on us.

"I was blown away by the support from fans. People came from Australia, Japan, Mexico and all over the States. Of course many of you saw ['The Tonight Show With Jay Leno'] and I think it was pretty good, but not up to par for this band. Being human, nerves inch there way into such performances. I'm sure ['The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn'] (on Monday) will feel better to us all. What can I say, it's only rock n roll?.

"Now, the funniest part of all this? Somehow, somewhere people started calling us a punk band?. as much as I love punk, I think that's a stretch. I hear metal, rock, pop and ya maybe some punk. I think we have a lot more depth to us than maybe even we know. There's a lot of talent in this band. And we're just getting started?

But from what I saw on Jay Leno. I am Sure REVL'ON RED would have been Better...lol
(I think the Singer Stole all of MARKY's Belts or at least his look)

i found this performance to be amusing..if two of these guys weren't famous they couldn't play the old coconut teaser on a monday at 8pm..
